How does Scenic Cellars work?

Scenic Cellars is a personalized wine concierge service. You share your preferences, availability, and group details — we design a custom tasting itinerary, coordinate with wineries, and manage reservations on your behalf.

Are you a winery or a booking platform?

Neither. We’re an independent wine concierge. We curate experiences and coordinate directly with wineries to secure well-paced, thoughtful visits tailored to you.

Can we come with family or non-drinkers?

Yes. Additional guests and non-drinkers are welcome. Please include the names of all guests so we can coordinate properly. Note: Some wineries may restrict guests under 21 or charge entry or tasting fees for non-drinkers. We’ll always flag this in advance.

Can we book corporate or team experiences?

Yes. We design custom itineraries for small corporate groups, team outings, and private events. Reach out with your group size and goals for a tailored plan.

I have limited time — can you maximize it?

Absolutely. We optimize pacing, travel time, and experience quality — whether you have a half-day window or multiple days to explore.

Do you handle last-minute requests?

We’ll do our best, subject to winery availability. Short-notice or high-demand dates may require an additional planning fee.

Do I pay anything upfront?

Yes. A $50 non-refundable planning deposit is required to begin planning and is applied toward your final concierge fee.

Final balances paid by credit card will include standard processing costs.

What do I receive after the deposit?

You’ll receive a preliminary itinerary outlining:

  • Winery flow and sequence
  • Tasting styles and experience types
  • Typical tasting fee ranges
  • Overall pacing and daily structure

Winery names and addresses are shared after final approval and payment.

When is the full itinerary delivered?

Once approved and paid in full, we finalize reservations and send a complete itinerary with confirmations and winery details.

What is the concierge fee?

  • $125 — One full tasting day
  • $200 — Two tasting days
  • $350–$400 — Corporate or group experiences

Are winery tasting fees included?

No. Winery tasting fees are set by each winery and are paid directly to them, either in advance or on the day of your visit.

What is your cancellation policy?

We want your experience to go smoothly! Please note:

  • Planning deposits and concierge fees are non-refundable once we begin work on your itinerary.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment cannot be refunded.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards and Zelle. A small processing fee may apply to credit card payments.
